I know you’re probably never going to see this, but I wanted to tell you how grateful I am. Thank you for saving my life, and for making it worth living every single day. I don’t think you realize how many people you’ve impacted with your words, your story, your values. Very few people have insight into your struggles, and as outsiders we can only see what you show us, but that glimpse is enough to inspire me every single day to be a better version of myself. I want to be kinder, be more creative, more patient, smile wider, laugh harder, love more fiercely, and it’s because of you. Sometimes I ask myself “what would Namjoon do? How would he handle this situation?” And the inklings I have make for wonderful answers. Intending to or not, you’ve become a role model for so many people. I hope this doesn’t put undue stress on you, since what I admire so much is your core beauty, not something you need to work to maintain or improve. It’s about who you are intrinsically, about your glow and the things that make you so uniquely You. I don’t even have the words to express the amount of gratitude I feel towards you and the boys. I wouldn’t be here, literally or metaphorically speaking, if it weren’t for you. Your messages truly transcend the barriers of language, time or distance, and they have always reached me exactly when I needed to hear them most.
